1. Hua Hin Night Market

The famous night market

A night market locates in the centre of the Dechanuchit Road. The market is prohibited for the car and presents as the walking street market for the local and tourists to enjoy the shopping – foods, goods, and souvenirs. And don’t worry about the location of the market as it is right perpendicular to Petchkasem Road, so it is easy to find the place. The market opens from 6.00pm to midnight daily. 2. Hua Hin Railway Station

A classic landmark of Hua Hin city which is one of the check-in spots that you should not miss. The Hua Hin Railway Station is former the Royal Pavilion of King Rama6. The pavilion used as the rest area for the king to watch the annual artifice training of the Wild Tiger Corps and Boy scouts of the country. And after his reign, the State Railway of Thailand dismantle the construction to store and as the memorial for the sovereign grace of the king.

And later in 1968, there was a rebuilt of the pavilion of Sanam Chandra Palace that relocated to Hua Hin to be the platform for the king to get on-get off the train and renamed to “Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion”. The railway station is another insignificant sightseeing of Hua Hin and also the place to store the old steam locomotive that the State Railway of Thailand bought from England and operated during the World War 2.

The library constructed from old train bogey with more than 50 years old and renovated to be the second public library in Hua Hin with more than 2,000 books at this library.

3. The Cicada Market

The Cicada Market is the night market that renovated from the old vacation house which is over six decades of age to the pleasant park that shady with the green trees over the 10 Rai of space. The market created on the concept of “Open Mind & Open Mat”. Therefore, the place is the centre to trade and exchange the idea of any kind of art including handicrafts, home decoration, costumes, second-hand goods, and other creative works. And every weekend (Friday – Sunday) the place set up the workshops, i.e. telltale, performing art, dancing, photography, open-hat performance, etc. that feature the shows to the tourists who visit the place.

How to go to Hua Hin

By Car:

From Bangkok, drives along the way of the road number 4 (Petchkasem Road) pass Petchaburi and Cha-am. Then, drives move the Hua Hin Tunnel to the Hua Hin City town and turn left at Hua Hin Alley 87. The beach is right there and lines through Khao Ta Kiab.

By Bus:

The Bus departs from the New Southern Bus Terminal (Taling Chan) and drops off at the Clock Tower of Hua Hin.

By Public Van:

You can get in the van at the Victory Monument that park in front of Rajavithi Hospital behind the bus station. The trip to go to Hua Hin departs from the hub every half an hour between 5.00am-8.00pm. And the tour back from Hua Hin to Bangkok departs every half an hour between 4.00am-8.00pm.

By Train:

There are many trains to Hua Hin depart from Bangkok at Bangkok Noi and Hua Lamphong Station and can get off at the Hua Hin Train Station.
